There’s a clear split right now.
Between those who are choosing to live in fear of the future.
And those who are choosing how to experience their reality, and choosing to be happy.
I keep thinking about a Satsang song, “There are lies in the facets of everything that we see, that are telling us to be scared, when all we ever are is free.”
The lies have been glaring lately. The cracks are showing. Personally, I think 9/11 is when those cracks really started exposing, but 2020 really cracked is open from my vantage point.
What you allow to whisper into your ear on a regular basis, alters your perception of the same reality that we all are co-existing in.
What news you listen to, what music, what movies, what people you surround yourself with, what advice you seek…
Do you vet the hell out of those sources?? Is your best interest at their heart? What is that individual or company’s agenda?
What does your intuition say?
If your sources are causing you to judge others who think differently about you, then it might be time to re-evaluate.
Right vs left, pro-life vs pro-choice, gender pronouns disputes, masks or no masks, jab or no jab…
These are ALL positioned to keep us distracted, pitted against one another and wool over our eyes.
When did we stop respecting critical thought and personal choice?
I was just having a conversation with colleagues about the intensity behind sharing our personal or political beliefs in this time in history and the trolling that comes along with it.
Keyboard warriors are on a rampage.
Distraction.
I won’t sit quiet about my beliefs, but I won’t say that doesn’t take a resilience that’s been built up for a while.
I also won’t choose to live in fear, I have so much freedom, so much choice, so much to work with and to be grateful for.
I am super careful about who I let whisper in my ear.
It’s kinda fun being on this side of the split.
